Flat-Rate Shipping
$9.25 to a business address within the 48 states, UPS Ground. Transit times (not
counting Saturdays and Sundays):
1 day to New Haven, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Norfolk.
2 days to Boston, Providence, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Charlotte, Memphis.
3 days to Minneapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, Mobile, Atlanta, Savannah, Miami.
4 days to Omaha, Kansas City, Tulsa, Little Rock, Dallas, New Orleans.
5 days to Tacoma, San Francisco, San Diego, Las
Vegas, Houston, Corpus Christi.
$11.50 to a residential address within the 48 states, UPS Ground, or Priority
Mail if you prefer.
Same UPS transit times as above. Priority mail usually 3 days.
$13.25 to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands,
Priority Mail, 3 or 4
days.
$4 packing and handling if we use your Fedex account number.

Foreign or Express
For foreign countries or for express shipments we will ship as you
specify, passing on the shipper's actual charge plus $4 for packing
and shipping.

Special Orders
We stock many more books and charts than are listed in these pages. We
encourage you to call or write to learn what else is available. In addition, we will order
any nautical book you wish, if we can find it and if it is in print. We will even find a
used copy of an out-of-print book if you allow us enough time. Please give us as much
information as you can. Items we do not usually stock are considered Special Orders
and are not returnable, except in the case of a used book whose condition does not meet
your expectations.

Returns
Except for Special Orders (see above), all books, charts and instruments may be
returned in their original condition within two weeks of
receipt, but you must call or write in advance for a Return Authorization. Returns
can be for credit, exchange, or refund, as you decide.
Software, disks and tapes are subject to normal return only if the shrink wrapping is
intact. If they have been opened, they may be returned for replacement if they
reached you in defective condition.

Security and Privacy
For your protection, we do not accept credit card numbers over the Internet. That is
why we ask you to mail, fax, or phone your first order.
We do not exchange or sell our mailing lists.
We keep mail-order customer addresses and credit card numbers in computers that have no
telephone connections.
